About us:

Beacon Land Management, LLC is a growing Land Service Company specializing in title research, leasing, curative, due diligence, GIS Mapping, and ROW in the Oil and Gas and Renewables Industry.

Our company is currently seeking a Contract Landman with a background in oil and gas, who is familiar with running HBP leasehold County, BLM, BIA, and State title. Or an individual with a strong title background who is familiar with running out land ownership history.

Responsibilities:

  • Research county indexes and interpret various documents such as deeds, assignments, probates.
  • Review BLM, BIA, and State lease files for chains of title and current ownership.
  • Create runsheets/abstracts.
  • Prepare reports of your findings.

This position will be a combination of remote work and on-site work within 25 miles of Farmington. Mileage and meal per diems are available when travel is required.

Job Requirements:

  • 3 plus years' experience as a landman or title professional.
  • Ability to travel up to 4 days a week within 25 miles of Farmington.
  • Have highspeed internet.
  • Have your own personal computer with Office 365.
  • Have your own scanner that can handle large documents.
  • Have a Dropbox and Onedrive account.
  • Have Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  • Being self-motivated with the ability to accomplish tasks without direct supervision.
  • Strong communication.
  • Attention to detail.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $37.50 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Farmington, NM: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
