Turner Industries Group is looking for a Contract Analyst for our Pipe Fabrication Facility in Port Allen, LA.

Job Descriprion: Customer, vendor, and management liaison ensuring contracts are completed accurately and timely, Gathers coordinates, and reports relevant information for review of contracts, purchase orders and changes orders as well as the point of contact for customers as appropriate. Assists Contracts manager in review and negotiations of Terms and Conditions with customers. Performs additional assignments as required: Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably 2+ years of experience or equivalent combinations of experience, training, and/or education in specified skill
  • Avid reader: skillful writer and/or wordsmith
  • Knowledge of contract language and legal phrases
  • Must possess both excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines
  • Must be self-directed and detail oriented
  • Proficient in MS office 2016 applications
  • Pre-employment qualifications test if applicable
  • Post-offer drug/alcohol screen
  • Job site orientation
  • "Personal Protective Equipment" (hearing protection, safety glasses, long sleeve shirt, gloves, steel toe boots, etc.) required when in shop/yard areas.


Physical and Mental Involvement:

Employee may be required to do the following: reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; standing; sitting; walking; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; following set procedures and standards; applying basic mathematical skills; planning work; comparing and understanding differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures and objects; picturing and evaluating solid objects from drawings or diagrams using standards that can be measured or checked; following oral and/or written directions, plans and blueprints; reading; writing; ability to recognize and report safety hazards.

Work environment Factors

1. Location: climate controlled office, environment at fabrication facility, shop walks may be possible

2. Mobility Barriers to Access Job Site: possible uneven fround level, obstructed pathways

3. Climate Environmental Conditions at Job Site: predominately indoor climate. Exposure to various noise levels cause by tools, machinery, equipment etc.
