Growing manufacturer of sheet metal based building products is seeking an experienced CI Engineer for a direct hire career opportunity near Rialto CA. This analytical role is responsible for the constant review of manufacturing processes to identify Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities that will result in increased efficiency, cost savings, or Customer satisfaction through measurable KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). This position will also require the use of advanced Six-Sigma tools (DMAIC), 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Process FMEA, etc... as the foundation for each of the projects

• Specification and selection of the equipment used for the purpose of creating hollow metal products

• Constant review of manufacturing processes to identify Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities that will result in increased efficiency, cost savings

• Advises, troubleshoots, and expedites resolutions and implements corrective actions to facilitate cost reduction, work simplification and safety.

• Create detailed manufacturing instructions to document processes

• This position will also require the use of advanced Six-Sigma tools (DMAIC), 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Process FMEA, etc...
