About the Team
As a Trust & Safety Content Safety Analyst, you will be part of the Enforcement Operations team within the US Safety organization, based in Los Angeles or Mountain View, CA. This critical role has oversight responsibility for the effectiveness of our content moderation operations. This entails ownership of our content moderation lifecycle, including operationalizing new Trust & Safety products, features and tools; human moderation workforce processes; policy update rollouts and more. The person in this role is a data-driven, process-oriented problem solver that has both meticulous attention to detail and the ability to think about operational scale across people, products and processes. This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile, highly adaptable person that wants to be part of a rapidly growing group and help build a foundation in an area of the highest importance to the company and consumer internet industry at large.

Responsibilities
1. Oversee moderation procedures, policies, and feature updates with a lens on efficiency and scalability. Drive content moderation excellence, promoting continuous improvement processes among stakeholders and vendors and ensuring that the processes are scalable.
2. Represent and amplify the voice of moderation and frontline moderators. Your ground-level expertise will be essential in providing feedback to the policy and product teams. Contribute to policy testing, feedback sessions, and feature launches.
3. Drive operational excellence through establishment and tracking of key operational metrics. Identify improvement opportunities, plan initiatives and track and problem-solve to achieve results.
4. Coordinate with engineering, policy, training, and vendor teams to drive end-to-end delivery of new moderation improvement initiatives.
5. Create and maintain detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote consistency in operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced consumer internet environment.
• Bachelor's degree from a top accredited educational institution.
• Data-oriented and skilled in structuring, crunching, analyzing and presenting metrics; intermediate Excel/spreadsheets capability.
• Experience building effective working partnerships and skilled at communicating both verbally and written with cross-functional teams and external partners across a variety of functions (engineering, legal, vendor operations).
• Respect for and desire to learn from and interact with other cultures in a truly global, multicultural company.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trust & Safety, content moderation domain expertise.
• Project management (PMP)
• Process improvement (Six Sigma)
