We are seeking a talented and experienced Content Manager to join our team at R1 Indoor Karting and TimeMission. As a Content Manager, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and managing all content across various platforms to engage and attract our target audience. Your role will play a crucial part in shaping our brand voice and ensuring consistent and high-quality content delivery.

The brands:

  • R1 Indoor Karting is an Indoor FEC (Family Entertainment Center) in Rhode Island that offers Karting, Axe Throwing, Interactive Darts, and TimeMission as main activities. We also have a function room and 2 bars, one in the Axe Bar and Dart City. We have a partnership with Burrito Bowl who takes care of catering and a Mexican style concession stand.   • TimeMission is the ideal mix of escape rooms and The Legends of the Hidden Temple. It consists of 32 portals that each has its own mission/game. The first stand-alone Mission location will opened in December 2022, and many locations will come after that. (www.timemission.com)
  • Dart City is a complete game concept for bars or entertainment venues. Social gaming is very hot at the moment to cater to a younger generation of bar-goers, day-drinkers, event planners and others with “experience-driven” social gaming concepts. The Content Manager will have an office at the TimeMission HQ, in Cranston (RI).

  • Karting: 1/4 mile track with high-speed karts on 55,000 square feet including bridge and banked turn.
  • TimeMission: Interactive Team Challenge with 25 rooms for teams of 3-5 players.
  • Axe Bar: 10 targets in a unique environment incl a full bar
  • Dart City: 10 interactive dart boards in a Cyber Punk theme.
  • Arcade: +/- 50 games
  • Location: 10 min from Providence (RI), 60 min from Boston (MA)
  • Customers: A mix of walk-ins, social, and corporate events.
  • R1 Indoor Karting is technology-driven and uses an entire eco-tech system with Briq bookings, Clubspeed, Intercard, ActiveCampaign, Zapier, Twilio, etc.

TimeMission Info

  • Goal = 20-25 locations by the end 2026 (currently 2 locations)
  • TimeMission 100% created and developed by the TimeMission team of which the content manager will be part.

Gameplay:

  • Each portal will test a combination of your intelligence, physical condition, strength, and/or hand-eye coordination.
  • Playing times range from 1 to 5 minutes per portal.
  • Teamwork is key to success. Each room is worth a maximum of 100 points.
  • Participants form teams of 2-5 people and play against other teams to achieve the highest score.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a content strategy aligned with our brand objectives and target audience.
  • Create compelling and engaging content for various platforms, including website, blog, social media, email newsletters, and more.
  • Conduct thorough research to generate innovative ideas and topics for content creation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and insights for content development.

Content Editing and Management:

  • Edit, proofread, and optimize content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Manage content calendars, ensuring timely delivery and publication of content.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve content visibility and search engine rankings.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using relevant metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Content Distribution and Engagement:

  • Utilize various distribution channels and platforms to reach and engage our target audience.
  • Manage social media accounts, monitor engagement, respond to comments, and foster community interaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to create visually appealing and shareable content assets.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging content formats to incorporate into our strategy.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and development, to align content initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with external content creators, agencies, or freelancers as needed.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely content delivery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
