Computer Programmer (Desktop or Notebook Web Applications)

Position Summary:

Potawatomi Training, LLC is seeking a qualified Computer Programmer (Desktop or Notebook Web Applications) who works in a collaborate work environment of developers and reports the computer programmer Lead. Receives all daily tasking to be completed on time and within the schedule given by the Lead.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Government requirements: Computer Programmer (Desktop or Notebook Web Applications)

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • B.S. of Computer Science (specialization in Modeling and Simulation or Web Applications)
  • Minimum of five 5+ years of paid experience developing successful scoring desktop and notebook DL simulations and augmented and virtual reality DL training environments for the DOD.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with WebVR development

Experience applying principles and techniques that Software Developer Required Skillset:

  • Collaborate with a team of software engineers, graphic artists, and instructional designers.
  • Develop efficient code based on requirements.
  • Test and deploy applications and systems.
  • Assist in gathering requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and debug existing software.
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, XSLT.
  • Solid knowledge of WAMP (MySQL and PHP).
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Blackboard, JKO, ALMS)
  • Experience with Version Control Systems (e.g., Git, GitHub).
  • Comfortable using Chrome or Firefox debug tools.
  • Knowledge of Unity Game Engine (nice to have

  • Ability to communicate effectively within the framework of U.S. Army TRADOC Pham 350-70.

  • Ability to effectively interface with personnel at all levels of client organization.

EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience at WebVR development
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and all software packages for programming
