Pathway Group has partnered up with a world leading Aerospace company ready to find temp to hire Production Techs!

Summary / Objective

The Production Technician works in all areas of Production which includes, working with composite structures, producing complex assemblies, tape wrapping, and compression molding.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Complete work orders/travelers when they are scheduled to be finalized.

· Utilizing ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.

· Understand the production process in the various areas which include tape wrapping, cutting, and compression molding

· Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.

· Set up, operate, or tend metal molding, casting, or coremaking machines to mold metal parts or products.

· Smooth and clean inner surfaces of molds, using brushes, scrapers, air hoses, or grinding wheels, and fill imperfections with refractory material.

· Adjust equipment and workpiece holding fixtures, such as mold frames, tubs, and cutting tables, to ensure proper functioning.

· Mix and measure compounds or weigh premixed compounds, and dump them into machine tubs, cavities, or molds.

· Inspect metal, plastic, or composite products.

· Adjust temperature controls of ovens.

· Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences.

· Maintain production or processing equipment.

· Use of upper body mobility, such as bending, use of arms and hands, and standing for the majority of the time.

Department Specific/Non-essential Functions

· Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Requirements

· 2-3 years of experience preferred.

· Ability to lift 30lbs.

· Repetitive motion

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
