POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role will work directly with the Licensing and Compliance Manager and assist with all duties related to NCAA and Professional Sports licensing + compliance including; submissions, tracking, organization, documentation, royalty tracking + reporting, trend reports. Licensing & Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Works in conjunction with Manager to provide information to stay within good standing, facilitating submissions, requests, asset management, resolving issues, assisting with the request and onboarding of new licenses, reviewing approvals/denials of submissions, and identifying new program opportunities.
  • Support management of licensing contracts with everyday responsibilities such as contract and amendment process, financial analyses, royalty reporting, forecasting, strategy presentations, product line analysis and other projects for the category.
  • Responsible for maintaining Excel graphic tracking documents and internal and external systems, including but not limited to Google Drive functions, and Airtable bases
  • Monitors existing and expiring license agreements and reports, and notifies management of pending needs.
  • Assists internal bookkeeping and financial team members with royalty reporting, updates, submissions, compliance, and licensing questions monthly.
  • Completes routine follow-up on submitted designs to ensure accurate and proper processing of finished goods and updates internal databases accordingly with necessary changes.
  • Works with licensing partners to resolve questions and understand individual nuances with each team’s culture and goals.
  • Reviews incoming emails, license requests, SOP updates, compliance, or other tasks related to daily workflow .
  • Files and maintain documentation for onboarding any new and existing Vendor Partners.
  • Works with existing vendors and team members to fulfill any new or existing license request.

Collection Launch Responsibilities:

  • Assists in maintaining design standards and meet licensing, development, and launch deadlines.
  • Ensures all proper artwork files, images, and other assets needed for production, marketing, and launches are accurate and ready in the appropriate formats in Dropbox.
  • Ensures licensed product lines reflect both Gameday Couture and our licensed partner’s quality and brand/property goals.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides licensor partners’ with product information to support marketing, social media efforts and brand/sales presentations.
  • Works with licensing leads and resources to expand a program designed to create ongoing marketing content and help promote campus and team related events on social media or in person.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 2+ Years Experience in Licensing, Compliance, and/or Apparel Industry
  • Must be deadline driven. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and is proactive in his or her approach to problem solving.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills*. Must be comfortable with v-lookup formulas and pivot tables.
  • Intermediate Google Sheets and Docs skills and familiar with all key features
  • Able to communicate with and take instructions from leadership staff
  • Detail Oriented and a Team Player with the ability to pivot as needed
  • Excel Skill assessment is part of the interview process for this position
