Job Description:
This position is responsible for participating in global audit processes to help address healthcare compliance (HCC) and anti-bribery/ anti-corruption (ABAC) risks globally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Participate in conducting all phases of compliance audits including planning, scoping, control assessment, test design and execution, and reporting
  • Partner with key stakeholders in the Ethics and Compliance Team and global businesses to execute audit steps
  • Communicate audit findings to management and help identify opportunities for improvement in the design and effectiveness of controls
  • Maintain a system to track compliance audit issues and remediation action plan status
  • Participate in risk assessment activities of internal operations, controls, communications, and maintenance of documentation as related to regulatory compliance
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare compliance rules, regulations, enforcement trends and industry standards to recommend policy and practice updates to ensure consistency with evolving laws, regulations and industry standards.
  • Assist in special projects and perform other duties as required
  • Participate in resolving complex issues based on existing solutions, policies, and procedures
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • Must be detail oriented, demonstrate interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Must be able to exercise judgment and assess risk
  • Must be able to analyze and assess data
  • Healthcare Industry experience strongly preferred
  • General understanding of global HCC/ABAC laws, regulations, and industry codes; working knowledge of sales and marketing activities

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 3 to 5 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
BA/BS degree; Masters’/Advanced degree or related certification preferred (e.g., JD, CPA, CCEP, Healthcare Law Compliance Certification).
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
To the extent this job is performed in NYC, the salary range for the position of Compliance Auditor is $60,480 to $105,840. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
