SUMMARY

The HR Compensation Analyst is an exciting opportunity to join Avetta in a newly created position. As Avetta embarks on re-envisioning our global job architecture including job titles, job families, job profiles/descriptions, career levels and associated pay ranges – we require someone with advanced data analytics and organizational skills to learn and participate on the front end of this major project. The HR Compensation Analyst will help Avetta develop the infrastructure, tools, and data analysis and documentation required to support compensation decisions and planning across Avetta's global organization. The HR Compensation Analyst will own the ongoing maintenance and administration of this program going forward.

This role requires working a hybrid schedule in our Orem/Lehi, UT office (minimum 3 days in office).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for assisting with the creation and maintenance of Avetta's global compensation program and supporting program documentation
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of Avetta's global compensation program, including job benchmarking, annual compensation review, program design and compliance and pay equity
  • Set up benchmarking analysis to develop new, or fine-tune existing job profiles, levels and pay ranges that comply with the new Avetta job architecture
  • Own and manage benchmark survey research and participation
  • Through regular auditing and reconciliation, ensure a high level of data integrity in all HR systems
  • Develop compensation reports, tools and documentation to facilitate compensation decisions (including annual planning/budgeting/benchmarking)
  • Provide a variety of regular ongoing HR analysis and reports
  • Drive user-friendly self-service HR reporting tool creation
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects related to people data analysis

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management or a related field preferred
  • 2-3 years' experience working in HR, Compensation or Payroll – ideally showcasing a high level of data analysis and manipulation, while working on highly sensitive data with caution, integrity, and confidentiality in strict accordance to data privacy regulations
  • Experience working with external salary survey data sources (such as Radford or Mercer) a plus
  • Experience supporting a multi-country company base a plus
  • Advanced Excel and/or Google sheets skills (vLookup, index match, pivot tables, charts, forecasting analysis including goal seek and what-if)
  • Expertise in ADP reporting or similar payroll/HRIS system a plus
  • Tableau or other data visualization software experience a plus
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic. You love working in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing business needs
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
