Community Services Officer I/II - Desert/Indio Job at County of Riverside
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department seeks to establish a pool of candidates for Community Services Officer I and II for Indio. The incumbent will perform a variety of law enforcement support duties requiring face-to-face public contact. In addition, they will complete a department field-training program to gain the appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to independently perform the duties assigned which include: giving citations or interviewing victims of non-violent crimes, receiving custody of an arrestee from a sworn officer for transporting, or act as an evidence custodian receiving, identifying, tracking, and maintain the security of crucial evidence within the evidence room.
