What does a Community Outreach Manager do at BrightStar Care?

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Consistent and constant outreach (i.e., phone calls, cold-call visits, scheduled visits) to existing clients and prospective clients in the community.
  • Build trusting and profitable relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Improve and maintain ongoing engagement with key new and existing clients.
  • Understand key new and existing client needs and address them effectively.
  • Educate and inform new and existing clients about our services and special offers.
  • Be strategic, analytical, and efficient when finding solutions to problems to ensure maximum client satisfaction.
  • Conduct market and population reviews to determine a quarterly "plan of attack"
  • Know the competition and strategize accordingly.
  • Close sales and acquire new clients—get agreement signatures!
  • Build a brand through networking and represent the company out in the community.
  • Protect our brand by maintaining a positive image in the market.
  • Uncover new business opportunities in the market.
  • Expand the client base by upselling and cross-selling services.
  • Use the tools and resources provided (e.g., daily updates in CRM) to keep track of all client expansion activity and metrics.
  • Meet or exceed established client expansion targets.

  • You are a nurse (LPN or RN) (preferred) or you have other medical background or industry experience

  • You have killer time management skills—we know client relationship managers enjoy a great sense of autonomy. In order to be successful, you must organize and balance your activities appropriately (prospecting, in-person meetings, and account management) to achieve real results.
  • You have a “yes” approach to customer service. Exceptional customer service is what separates BrightStar Care from the rest. You must use active listening and provide A Higher Standard of service to all existing and prospective clients.
  • You hold yourself to very high standards—highest level of professional and presentation standards.
  • You have excellent computer skills and know how to use software tools and web applications.
  • You enjoy talking to people.
  • You effectively use your persuasion skills every single day!
  • You have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance.
  • You can travel within the assigned territory on a daily basis including weekends, nights and holidays.
  • You'll be able to pass drug, background and criminal record checks.
