Overview:
Atlantic Health System is seeking a part-time Community Outreach Coordinator for the Oncology Services / Women's Cancer Screening Department at Morristown Medical Center to work 8AM-4PM, including weekends for educational programs.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Responsible to coordinate community focused outreach, education and cancer screenings in the MMC service area.
  • Work with Manger to oversee NJCEED grant, assists in screening clinics with program staff, interfaces and establishes relationship with community service organizations.
  • Oversee outreach support staff and assists with navigation of patients in program. Attend relevant committees and community meetings.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • B.A, public health, health administration, social work or other relevant degree preferred

Minimum Experience:
  • 3 years community outreach or equivalent experience desired
Licenses/Certification:
  • CHES Certification preferred
