Job Description
We are looking for a machine operator with experience in a commercial/industrial setting to join our team in Verona, PA. This position sews industrial strength material, webbings, and straps used in tarping systems and covers for the trucking industry. The individual could also operate equipment that heat seals vinyl and other industrial strength material into various sizes and shapes. The qualified candidate must be a high-energy, self-starter with a strong work ethic. This individual will need to be motivated by a competitive industry and be results, detail and team-oriented.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move the finished tarps and covers for warehousing and shipping purposes.
- Prior experience operating a forklift is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
- Proficient with numbers and ability to measure accurately.
- Previous experience with sewing machines preferred, will train as needed, so individual must be a quick learner. Specific experience with Miller Weldmaster equipment is a plus.
- Excellent attendance.
- Ability to Read and Write in English.
- High school diploma or a GED.
