We have helped build the ‘best in class’ Bacardi Advocacy team in North America encompassing a family of ambassadors across the portfolio. Our objective is to provide opportunities for our ambassador team to grow their careers across Bacardi, SGWS and TEAM.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage a team of Portfolio/Brand Ambassadors (ie. recruit, on-board, train, retain and manage full-time employees) and lead by example through their experience in the on-premise
  • Perform a variety of tasks including hosting weekly status calls, analyzing and enforcing performance goals, creating presentations, managing project timelines, and providing recaps to all stakeholders
  • Monitor Ambassador activity and hold them accountable to meeting their goals and performing their job responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships while acting as a superb communicator across agency departments, with direct reports and with clients
  • Be very forward thinking in maintaining detailed schedules, providing updates to the team and staying ahead of potential pitfalls prior to their occurrence
  • Support in the development and ideation of education and engagement programs that connect to our key partners (Trade, Distributor and Internal teams)
  • Practice and ensure compliance with all the organization’s policies and procedures


Skills:

  • Be highly skilled at interfacing directly with clients and must present him/her-self in a professional, competent manner. The individual will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to quickly win the trust and respect of their client and peers
  • Have a passion for the liquor industry and the category – previous experience developing and executing experiential programming is a plus
  • Exhibit initiative and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment with multiple departments. Experience with problem solving and conflict resolution is a must
  • Possess a strong interest in mentorship and be passionate about facilitating growth and a strong career path for your team
  • Be solution oriented when confronted with ambiguity. Utilizing a proactive approach to problem solving will allow candidates to be forward thinking and anticipate any potential hurdles that may develop into a negative consumer/brand interaction
  • Bring an innovative and insightful approach to participating/assisting in strategy and creative brainstorming for program development, etc.
  • An expert in Microsoft office tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Proficient in utilizing and navigating tech solutions for projects, reporting and organization


Financial & Reporting:

  • Efficiently manage program budgets – analysing program investment, providing financial updates on a quarterly basis and offering solutions based on brand/advocacy team’s financial goals
  • Ensure that ambassador team stays within budget across activation & T+E Budgets
  • Monitor the delivery of programming objectives on time and on budget
  • Effectively track the ambassador team spend in focus accounts to ensure effectiveness
  • Recap and reconcile all financial transactions of your team to your client
  • Manage weekly status calls with the ambassador team
  • Utilize the PULSE Reporting Tool to assist ambassador team plan, manage and report on all activity in the field
  • Compile monthly recaps for each ambassador and provide executive recap every quarter to the portfolio/brand team

  • Be a leader and mentor to the team of Ambassadors to ensure growth and across the group
  • Possess the ability of being solution-oriented – helping to be forward thinking and anticipating any potential hurdles
  • Be highly skilled at interfacing direct with clients and demonstrate the ability to quickly win the trust and respect of peers & colleagues
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks including composing correspondence such as client memos, creating presentations, project timelines, and after-action/contact reports.
  • Be solution oriented and take an entrepreneurial approach with ambassador team and the supporting departments
  • Bring a creative and insightful approach to participating/assisting in strategy and creative brainstorming
  • Support the Group Advocacy Lead in providing recaps and feedback on programs and ambassador KPI’s
