Seeking a seasoned Collections Specialist with extensive Fertility medical practice experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Observe accounts to identify and collect overdue payments
  • Address client queries regarding repayment plans
  • Communicates effectively with patients to request and arrange payments towards outstanding account balances
  • Take necessary action to encourage timely payments
  • Keep accurate records and reporting on account collection activity
  • Develop collection methods that consistently lead to achieving or exceeding company goals
  • Process patient payments and post accordingly
  • Review patient accounts to ensure charges are posted accurately based on insurance requirements or financial program

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of prior experience working in collections
  • Fertility experience required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience using computers
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Microsoft Excel experience preferred

Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit for long periods of time, and must have manual dexterity to work computer systems and keyboard.
