CMT - Certified Medication Technician

New Hourly Rates UP TO $22/hr

The community offers a quality senior living experience on our lovely 40-acre tree-lined community with an array of garden home styles, apartments, and services including our 116-bed skilled nursing and rehab area.


Shift: Day and/or Evening, and every other weekend

The Certified Med Tech is responsible for administering medications as prescribed by the resident's physician and documenting the administration, the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects of the medications while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory and organizational standards.


Requirements for Certified Med Tech:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • Licenses / certifications required
  • Required Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) who has successfully completed a training program approved by the Commonwealth of Kentucky for medication administration, has an acceptable score on the written and clinical examinations and has received certification as Medication Aid
  • Prefer 1 or more years' experience in a long-term health care setting
