JOB SUMMARY: The DUP Coordinator serves in a dual role capacity by assisting with both contract management and closings for the division. This position is responsible for working closely with and providing a communication link between the sales managers, sales representatives, lenders, and Title Company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contract management/ audit
- Appraisers point of contact to provide comparable sales
- Process cancellations/ refunds
- Data entry/ backlog maintenance
- Internal builder detail schedules providing data for closing documents
- Start letters/ BCL letters
- Work with title companies for accurate closings
- Work with outside lenders on loan approvals/ appraisals/ closings
Education:
- Minimum of a high school education; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prefer at least 1 year of direct mortgage/lending experience.
- Prior homebuilding or residential real estate experience preferred, but not required.
- Exceptional organizational capability, including the ability to multi-task.
- Strong people skills, including the capability to handle various personalities and develop professional relationships.
- Action oriented, with the drive to push projects and tasks to successful closure.
- Proven ability of being customer centric by seeking solutions from the customer’s perspective
- Strong verbal & written communication, with the ability to take complex concepts and communicate accurately and persuasively.
- Strong ability to work within a team-setting, inclusive of other’s ideas, and a willingness to cooperate.
- Makes quick and accurate decisions based heavily on facts, data and/or metrics.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Florida Notary preferred but not required.
- Work 8-hour days with flexibility for overtime when necessary. *Subject to change during month, quarter, and year end, and/or as needed.
- Complete all tasks timely and accurately, maintain certain tasks daily/weekly/monthly as required.
- Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to potential buyers, trade partners, and coworkers to reinforce goodwill and profitability for the company.
- Work from division office.
