Clinician - LPC/LCSW/Residents/Supervisees.

VFS is seeking a Clinician who has experience supervising clinical staff and applying clinical skillset. Clinicians are able to manage multi-disciplinary staff with competency in various supervision techniques. Demonstrate skill set in assessment and counseling (risk, suicidal, crisis intervention & diagnostic) with the ability to apply concepts, theory, and foundations for practice. Experience in Community-Based Services is required. Scheduled hours are 830 AM - 530 PM, Monday-Friday. Must be able to drive to the satellite office in Farmville, VA. Company Vehicle provided.

Licensure requirements:
  • Must be licensed in Virginia as either (Preferred).
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Minimum of four (4) years of supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience with adults, children, and adolescents.

Mental Health Services:
The clinician must have experience in mental health treatment and diagnosis.
The Clinician must be PROFICIENT with:
  • Electronic Records Systems.
  • Comprehensive Needs Assessments.
  • Note approvals and Clinical Writing.
  • Initial Authorizations and Continued Stay Request.
  • Chart Compliance & Maintenance.
  • Individualized Service Plans.
  • Monthly & Quarterly Reports.
  • Care Coordination & Discharge Planning.
  • Supervision of Paraprofessionals & QMHPs.

The Clinician must possess the following attributes:
  • Organized.
  • Fair, Firm & Consistent supervision capability.
  • Computer skills-proficient.
