The Clinical Trials Specimen Management Customer Service and Inventory Specialist is responsible for overseeing internal and external specimen inquiries as well as Biospecimen inventory quality and compliance. The Specialist is responsible for monitoring accession reporting to ensure complete and accurate listing of the Biospecimen inventory. The CTSM Customer Service and Inventory Specialist will model the Brand Promise & Core Values to ensure superior customer service.

ATTRIBUTES
- Bachelor’s Degree or 1 year experience in specimen management, biorepository heath care or related field required
- Direct or indirect team lead experience preferred.
- Experience in Clinical Trials Specimen Management or Bio Repository experience preferred.
- Strong Data Entry skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service. Provide customer service by monitoring incoming inquiries through our internal communication system and perform investigations to answer inquiries. Act as the primary point of contact for other departments in ACM to resolve any ongoing issues.
Inventory Management. Provide metrics on the turnaround of the inquiry and sophistication of the response. Trouble shoot and investigate sample management escalations and inquiries for all of service within sample management. Daily monitoring of pending reports including by not limited to “samples not in Freezerworks” and “samples not in Labstar” to ensure our inventory is accurate and complete.
Reporting & Laboratory Support. Provide back up support to all departments within CTSM. Biorepository oversight including Freezer temperature monitoring and quarterly metrics review. Create new studies in Freezerworks as requested. Actively participate in CTSM leadership group meetings to develop standardization and process excellence within the department.
