The Johns Hopkins Hospital Supplemental Staffing unit is a centralized staffing unit that deploys highly skilled nursing staff who have been oriented to the care and practice standards of hospital, to units with immediate staffing needs. We are currently seeking a Clinical Technician who is excited to work in a variety of care settings where you will be supporting the care and safety of our patients. Our collaborative work environment includes advanced practice providers, nurse extenders, unit based support technicians and administrative staff. Shifts: Rotating shifts; weekend work required

Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required
Active Nursing Assistant Certification in Maryland is required
1 year of acute care (hospital) tech experience within the most recent 2 years is required (EMT or CRT experience may be considered)
BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
Clinical Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital have the opportunity to provide highly skilled and compassionate patient- and family-centered care as a contributing member of the health care team. Ongoing education is provided to all Clinical Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year, you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit, which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development.
