Clinical Support Assistant (Medical Assistant) - Chicago, IL Job at LiveWell Choice, LLC
To improve the health and quality of life of nursing home residents by caring for their unique medical, social and emotional needs.
OFFERING:
5 days per week; Flexible to include 1 weekend day.
Hours: 9am - 6pm or 10am -7pm
THE OPPORTUNITY:
- Offering an excellent customer service/patient experience to our members in LTC
- Responsible to support on the ground continuity of care, making rounds to catch early changes in member condition, data gathering and facilitation of effective onboarding of new and current health plan members.
- Assists with EMR data input including backfilling of records, medical histories, immunizations, lab results and prior authorizations.
The Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certification/Diploma & min. 2 yrs experience
- Knowledge of the challenges and opportunities to serve the long-term nursing home population.
- Excellent computer skills, EMR/clinical Platform/MS Office Products.
- Good verbal and written communication skills required.
- Able to work independently and as a team member.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Must be Covid Vaccinated
