Overview:
Presbyterian Homes & Services - Stair Crest, Muskego, WI is seeking a Clinical Services Coordinator (Clinical Scheduler) to join its team at our new site in Muskego!

The Clinical Scheduler is responsible for direct care of residents in addition to scheduling and coordinating the work of Resident Assistants in Assisted Living/Memory Care, assist with orientation of new staff, data entry office support, and coordinating billing for services.

Key competencies we are seeking:

  • Excellent Communication Skills with both care team, residents and families
  • Excellent Organization and time management skills
  • Ability to think creatively to plan a schedule to meet the care needs of the community
  • Relationship building team skills
  • 3+ years Caregiving in Assisted Living & Memory Care
  • CNA Desired but not required
  • CBRF Certs a plus
  • Profiency with scheduling Software a plus. We use Day Force Scheduling Tool.
  • Flexibility to fill in for open unfilled shifts as needed.
  • Rotation of On Call Phone

REPORTING STRUCTURE: This position reports directly to the Clinical Administrator.

ABOUT THIS COMMUNITY
Located on the former site of Tess-Corners Elementary School, Stair Crest will be built in a modern revival architectural design. A promenade entrance will welcome residents into a spacious two-story foyer overlooking a beautifully landscaped outdoor terrace, gazebo and large pond. Desirable social programs and convenient amenities will provide residents a comfortable and engaging lifestyle. Stair Crest will be a community filled with continued learning and social programming. We are excited to welcome community members as well as Dominican Sisters. When complete in Spring/Summer 2023, Stair Crest will include 80 independent living apartments, 20 assisted living apartments, and 20 memory care apartments.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the onboarding process of new Resident Assistants and/or Resident Aides as designated.
  • Coordinate the orientation of Resident Assistants and/or Resident Aides.
  • Coordinate and develop Resident Assistant work schedules.
  • Communicate all performance concerns, educational needs and development opportunities to supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Provide input to performance evaluations of Resident Assistants and/or Resident Aides.
  • Implement established staffing patterns and schedules that meet resident care needs and financial goals.
  • Serve on-call for staffing needs as required.
  • Maintain accurate staffing documentation including attendance tracking as designated by site.
  • Maintain and submit accurate staffing statistical data to supervisor according to established timelines.
  • Provide clerical support for the Home Care function.
  • Coordinate and complete home care billing for services provided to residents according to established procedures.
  • Maintain inventory, billing and distribution of supplies and equipment according to established procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and timely payroll information for the clinical function as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities such as problem solving, organizational skills, and ability to work well with and coordinate the work of others.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency including word processing and other computer experience.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
