UW Primary Care is a network of 16-Community-based clinics throughout the Puget Sound region. Our clinics offer a wide spectrum of primary care services, as well as secondary care, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Urgent care services are offered seven days a week at select locations, including Issaquah Primary Care. Our clinics are staffed with compassionate and professional providers, healthcare workers, and administrative staff, and are consistently recognized for high quality standards by the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care and the National Committee for Quality Assurance Patient-Centered Medical Home Program.
UW Primary Care KENT/DES MOINES has an outstanding opportunity for a CLINICAL LAB TECHNICIAN-2! Our Lab Technician’s work in a clinical laboratory with a limited test menu and high service demands; performing waived and limited non-waived testing, excluding microscopic evaluations, and adult and pediatric phlebotomy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIREMENTS
Relevant experience or training in a clinical laboratory or medical setting, required active Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist with the Washington State Department of Health; or eligible to become certified as a Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-Phlebotomist) with the Washington State Department of Health to perform venous and capillary invasive procedures for blood withdrawal within 90 days of hire. High School/GED AND Minimum one-year relevant experience or training in a clinical laboratory or medical setting.
