Seeking Full-Time Clinical Director to work in a team environment providing care to adults or adolescents/children in CHD’s NEW Adult Mobile Crisis Intervention, Adult Crisis Stabilization, Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention, Youth Crisis Stabilization, and Outpatient Clinic programs offer 24/7 response to adults and children experiencing behavioral health or substance use related crisis at one location in Chicopee Massachusetts. These programs treat individuals and families throughout the care continuum. Services include but are not limited to individual counseling, psychiatry, recovery coaching, case management, treatment for substance use disorders, and peer supports.

The Independently Licensed Clinical Director reports to the Assistant Director and is responsible for clinically appropriate service deliver for outpatient behavioral health services included therapy, urgent care access, case management and peer support services. Overseeing a team of about 20 staff, the Clinical Director works with Clinicians and Clinical Supervisors to deliver an efficient and evidence based continuum of care. The right leader will be an innovative thinker, team focused with a sensitivity to the unique needs and stressors of the clinical workforce. The person will work in tandem with the Clinical Directors of the Crisis and Crisis Stabilization teams on site and must collaborate well with the Medical Services team to offer a truly integrated continuum of care.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand funder driven program specifications.
  • Participate in building clinical workflows that are consistent between programs.
  • Uses analytics to drive clinical decisions.
  • Oversees masters level, bachelors level and peer service lines.
  • Supervise Masters level staff.

Job Requirements:

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
  • Skill in MS Office 365 in the utilization of technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish agendas, lead meetings, and bring parties to consensus.

Required Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health discipline and independent clinical licensure required.
  • Two years manager/supervisor or administrative experience in a similar mental health setting required.
  • 4-6 years clinical experience in a multi-disciplinary mental health setting required.
  • Experience/knowledge around Emergency Services and/or Urgent Care and other behavioral health service lines.
