Summary: The CD is responsible for overseeing program development and staff training for their clients, as well as supporting other Jr Program Managers and Program Mangers in their designated buildings. The CD will also oversee general building needs for their site and coordinate care required with the Clinical Admin and Family Outreach Coordinator.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in ABA field, working with a variety of ages
  • 2 to 3 years management/supervision experience
  • Demonstrates exemplary leadership, mentoring, and organization skills
  • Completely independent with ABA programming and implementing evidence based intervention strategies
  • Meets all expectations of SR PM position based on checklist attached

Clinical Responsibilities to Pod:

All program manager responsibilities, including but not limited to;

  • Program development
  • Monitor behavioral interventions
  • Complete monthly parent meetings/trainings
  • Complete daily clinical logs
  • Complete end of service report when needed
  • Complete checklist for new client in your POD that start at LAC
  • Communicate with child's school about transition/ongoing supervision/attend IEP meetings
  • Mentor senior therapist
  • Write up therapists in pod as needed
  • Complete new therapist RBT training and ongoing supervision
  • Approve/deny daily PTO
  • Complete daily schedule
  • Complete and conduct therapist annual reviews
  • Conduct parent binder meetings
  • Update/complete all documents in insurance report

Clinical Responsibilities for Building:

  • Monitor all lists for all clients in building
  • Approve/edit/review all goals and programs written by PM’s and Jr PM's in building
  • Edit/review all monthly parent meetings for Jr PM's in building
  • Review all write ups for PM’s and Jr PM's in building
  • Conduct parent portion of initial assessments and complete associated paperwork
  • Train/mentor PMs on conducting parent binder meetings for new kids to LAC
  • Complete supervision for LAC’s apprentice program for building, when applicable with assistance from RD
  • Demonstrate ability to continually challenge and train all new Jr PM’s and PM’s in the building
  • Monitor all staff training checklists, as well as APR checklist
  • Sign off on all BCBA Clinical logs daily
  • Complete peer reviews with PM’s in building
  • Weekly building meeting with team to communicate
  • Meet weekly with all levels program managers to review client’s goals, progress, and areas for improvement
  • Check Insurance reports for PM’s in building and submit reports
  • Manages up to Regional Director
    • Progress or concerns with PMS in building
    • Client Concerns
    • Metrics
    • Building Maintenance
    • Staffing Concerns.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Train PMs on interview process for senior therapist position and email/inform the appropriate people of promotion
  • Monitor all dashboards for building weekly and report any necessary information to supervisor
  • Manage all building maintenance
  • Complete Jr PM and PM annual APRs with the assistance of the RD
  • Train PMs on new hire and intern interviews
  • Plan staff holiday events
  • Manages building credit card
  • Purchase building supplies (Toys, fruit, creamer, birthday treats)
  • Request purchases for clinical and building supplies needs to be sent to RD
  • Coordinating a plan and then informing the appropriate people if/when emergency action or building safety plans need to be implemented
  • Works well with team & demonstrates professionalism in the workplace
  • Demonstrates creativity & “think outside the box” attitude to provide support and achieve positive outcomes for all clients and staff
  • Consistently builds rapport with clients & families to achieve best possible outcomes
  • Promotes LAC culture and values with clients & staff
  • Effectively uses DISC training with all employees, including those they supervise, peers, and managers.
