Our Riley Adolescent Medicine and Genetics clinic in downtown Indianapolis – in the Pediatric Care Center is currently seeking a positive, motivated, and engaging candidate with experience managing direct reports to join our team! The clinical manager combines clinical experience and contemporary leadership practices with the IU Health Way to achieve excellent outcomes. The position is the crux of the onsite and day to day clinical management and staffing operations for the two service lines. Accountable for directing and facilitating many aspects of management both for patient care staff as well as for the clerical team to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care.

Incumbents will lead an inter-professional team to create an environment where the team is empowered to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes. This role is accountable for advancing clinical care practice by advocating and consistently embedding evidenced-base practices and professional standards.

  • Requires a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN).
  • If bachelor degree not in nursing, must have Master of Nursing (MSN).
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • Specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership is preferred.
  • Required current State of Indiana licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Required Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
