Summary:

The Concierge Research Coordinator will act as a navigator who is responsible for providing support to clinical trials subjects in scheduling and addressing barriers to participation, support recruitment efforts into ongoing trials including providing education about ALS and research. The position will focus on underrepresented populations and requires bilingual (Spanish and English) fluency. The Concierge Research Coordinator will educate people attending the ALS Clinic regarding research opportunities; educate people attending the ALS Clinic about ALS and the goals of research as part of the team in clinic; support the clinical trials program by assisting potential subjects in overcoming barriers to participation including arranging transportation, scheduling for convenience; work with the ALS team and clinical trials team to identify potential participants. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 months of experience in clinical research. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Able to work within a team
  • Able to assimilate concepts and explain in lay terms
  • Understanding of clinical research

This position requires a background check.
