NorthCare Network is a Specialty Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan (PIHP) located in Marquette, Michigan and is responsible for the management and service array available to residents of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula with behavioral health needs covered by Michigan Medicaid and specialty grants for substance use disorder services.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Under the supervision of the NorthCare Senior Clinical Director, this position assures the regional training, implementation, sustainability, and fidelity of effective clinical treatment models that have been identified as evidence-based practices, promising practices or services are delivered according to best practice guidelines in the MDHHS master contract. The Coordinator will function as a liaison between the CMHSP Providers and MDHHS. The Coordinator will attend state committees and inform the CMHSPs of state initiatives and grant opportunities. By maintaining excellence in clinical practice, the Coordinator monitors processes for ongoing fidelity outcome measures and assures fidelity reviews occur in a timely way. The Coordinator will collaborate with the providers in their needs assessment to plan long-term new programming that will be necessary to meet the changing needs of our region. Chair the Clinical Quality Improvement Committee, or as an alternative and coordinate activities of that group, providing technical assistance for the implementation of evidence-based practices and emerging and promising practices. Will ensure an adequate array of appropriate and required services taking into consideration waivers when appropriate to meet the needs of a rural population and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: An experienced master’s level Social Work or Human Services Degree is required. Must have a valid State of Michigan license. Consideration may be given to an applicant who holds a State of Michigan Registered Nurse license or a master’s Science Nursing (MSN). Experience in mental health services is also required.

STATUS/HOURS: Competitive Wage, plus full-time benefits. Regular full-time/80 hours biweekly

SALARY RANGE: $48,981.50 to $66,212.30. Starting salary will be determined based on education, experience, and certification(s).
