Cleaning and Reception Desk Job at NYLO Fitness
NYLO Fitness is an exclusive personal training gym in the heart of Tribeca.
We need a motivated and detail oriented early riser to help keep our gym spotless and enthusiastically greet our clients and trainers when we open. If you are a positive people person who is not afraid to scrub a bathroom and move weights around the gym, please apply here.
The opening shift begins Saturday at 7AM and ends between 12PM and 2PM depending on traffic. The closing shifts begin at 5PM Tuesday and Thursday and ends between 8PM and 9PM. We may have more shifts available in the future.
Duties include:
- Opening the studio and turning on facility lights and plant grow lights.
- Vacuuming and mopping the gym floors, locker rooms, and lobby before we begin taking clients at 5:45AM.
- Cleaning bathrooms, showers, sinks, toilets, locker rooms, gym equipment, taking out trash.
- Operating the door intercom from the front desk.
- Picking up and dropping off towels from the laundromat. Folding and restocking towels. Bags weigh up to 25lbs and must be carried one block.
- Client greeting and reception. You will have access to the gym schedules and be responsible for buzzing in clients.
- Greeting clients and helping them fill out liability waivers when necessary.
Bonus: You may use the facility to work out after shifts.
NYLO is a fitness co-working space where fitness professionals can bring clients to use the facility for yoga, personal training, massage, and every other flavor of fitness.
