Quick Hands Logistics is a third-party lumping and yard jockey service located in Southern California. We operate in Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and OC/LB County.

Job Summary: A Class A Driver is responsible for driving and operating commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, combination trucks, and other large trucks to transport goods and materials. They must possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and have a clean driving record. The Class A Driver is responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of goods, maintaining the vehicle, and complying with all state and federal regulations.

This job position is currently a temporary position, which means that the duration of employment will depend on how long it takes to complete the assigned task. The hours and time it takes to finish the job may vary and depend on a number of factors such as the volume of work, the complexity of the task, and unforeseen circumstances that may arise during the job.

Although the job position is temporary, if the employee performs well and meets or exceeds expectations, there is a possibility that their employment may be extended or even converted into a permanent position. However, at this time, it is important to communicate that the position is temporary and the duration of employment cannot be guaranteed beyond the completion of the assigned task.

As a temporary employee, the individual will still be expected to perform all duties and responsibilities of the job to the best of their ability and comply with all company policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs inspection of vehicle prior to use, moves trailers/containers from the warehouse doors to the yard and vice versa as directed by management.
  • Checking /containers as they are spotted for loading and unloading and pulling from doors.
  • Orderly maintaining of the yard.
  • Will be responsible for inputting data into company system.
  • Will Service multiple buildings as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 21 years of age
  • No Tickets, violations, infractions or convictions on their record.
  • When applying for the position we need a recent DMV print out.
  • Bring an updated Physical card that complies with DOT.
  • Must pass assessment.
  • Must pass DOT drug screen and physical.
  • Must pass random drug test per DOT compliance.
  • Must have a current class A license.
  • Reliable and customer oriented.
  • Safety oriented.
  • Must have good attendance and it is an essential function of the job.
  • Must know how to drive manual transmission.
  • Travel to various locations is required.
