We partner with major furniture and appliance retailers at over 200 locations across the country to provide warehousing and final mile delivery solutions. What You Will Do:

As the Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for participating in the ownership of the day to day with In-Home Claims, Vehicle Claims, and Merchandise Claims process with an emphasis delivering “Excellent” customer service to the field, independent contractors, and our retail partners.

• Salary of $38,500
• Biweekly pay
• Schedule Information: training will consist of a Mon - Fri schedule with the option to switch to Mon - Thurs once complete
• Elected benefits begin on the 1st day of the month following 30 days of employment

Position Responsibilities:

(include, but not limited to)

• Assists the executive team in developing policies and programs to eliminate, control and reduce damage claims
• Builds positive relationships with internal and external partners and customers by promptly addressing inquiries regarding new or existing claims
• Ensures a superior level of customer service
• Ensures that all damage claims are handled in a timely manner
• Interprets and applies laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures, and department operational guidelines in daily functions
• Manages and resolves in-home damage, vehicle and/or merchandise claims in a timely manner
• Manages the claims database including additions, deletions, and changes
• Provides support to all field locations with responsibilities related to damage claims
• Resolves customer, client, and contractor concerns regarding new or existing damage claims and the appeal of denied claims

Requirements:

• Ability to manage high volumes of inbound and outbound phone and email communications
• Ability to work in a multi-tasking in a fast-paced professional business environment
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred but not required
• High School and/or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Previous Claims experience is preferred but not required
