Claims Examiner I - Customer Service Representative Job at HIGH DESERT MEDICAL CORP, A MEDICAL GRP
High Desert Medical Group is seeking a full time Claims Examiner I - Customer Service Associate. Employee will be responsible for reviewing professional claims according to CMS policy and guidelines, CPT, and departmental guidelines as well as handling patient and vendor claims inquiries. Answering phones, and assisting with claims status, assisting providers and members with claims documentation, logging and maintaining claim information. Maintain a professional, positive and caring attitude at all times.
Pay Range: $35,360.00- $48,526.40 Non- Exempt
Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional skills required:
Knowledge of medical terminology, computer literate with technical skills, knowledge of Excel and Word. Knowledge in EZ0Cap software desirable. Ability to key 13,000 keystrokes per hours. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle and prioritize tasks in order to meet all given deadlines and productivity goals. Ability to responsibly handle matters of a confidential nature. Ability to work in a multi-task, high productive environment.
