Job Title: Citrix Engineer

Work Location: Brooklyn, OH (No remote)

Job Descriptions:

Wintel:-

1. Basic knowledge/experience in OS patching, maintenance and validation using SCCM.
2. AV/ Security patches updates management.
3. Backup and validation (any one backup tool experience)
4. Software’s/ applications installation.
5. Windows internal CA and certificate management (new request, renewals)
6. Server build, Decommission, reclamation.
7. Vulnerability remediation.
8. Windows 2012, 2016 & 2019 troubleshooting and resolving critical, performance degrade issues.
9. Managing and troubleshooting HP server hardware, firmware upgrade.
10. Managing, troubleshooting SFTP server’s (any SFTP tool).
11. Addressing standard service request’s related to access provisioning, capacity enhancements.
12. Managing file server/ Distributed file system.
13. Basic knowledge in VMware/ Hyperconvergence (HCI)
14. Basic knowledge in Active directory.

Citrix:-
15. All aspects of Citrix design, performance-monitoring, tuning, scripting, upgrades, and maintenance of all production Citrix systems
16. Supports applications, hardware, operating systems, and network infrastructure
17. Make architectural and operational recommendations applying updates to the Citrix environments
18. Maintenance/monitoring/upgrading/troubleshooting
19. Daily maintenance and troubleshooting of the servers in Citrix
20. Administration on Citrix PVS for server maintenance (ongoing task), upgrades (ongoing task), and image maintenance/updates/upgrades (ongoing task)
21. Configuration, deployment, proactive monitoring, and maintenance of EPIC-related tasks
22. Following vendor and Epic best practices for hardware and software configuration
23. Drawing upon concepts of tools, technologies, and methodologies to collaborate with other technical specialists when carrying out assigned duties
24. Good technical knowledge depth on MS Operating System
25. Providing 3rd level support to end users for issues on various OS platforms and the creation and communication of Citrix support documentation for 1st and 2nd level support teams
26. Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers and switches
27. Certification in Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop or equivalent work experience relative to supporting XenApp and XenDesktop platforms running version 6.5 and/or 7.x
28. Experienced with deployment of servers utilizing PVS and/or MCS in a virtual environment
29. Working knowledge of Insight and Director monitoring platforms
30. Experienced with Citrix Netscaler 9.x or 10.x

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
