The Children’s Director is a full-time position (40 hours/wk) within the Family Ministry Department of Old Fort Baptist Church, and is an opportunity to serve our families with infants up to 6th grade children. The job has enormous opportunity for generations of kingdom impact! This position reports to the Next Generation Pastor. Here are the tasks associated with the job:
- Direct childcare and discipleship opportunities for infant – 6th grade.
- Serve as the primary coordinator for children’s events
- Help coordinate Family Ministry Events
- Recruit, equip, train, celebrate, and maintain volunteers.
- New Family Follow-up
- Update and send the Family Ministry Newsletter
- Help record and publish the Family Ministry Podcast
- Staff Calendar Meetings
- Coordinate Kids’ Corner and lead it 1-2x month.
- Other tasks as requested by the Next Generation Pastor.
Requirements
- An unashamed Christian faith
- Enthusiastically agree to the beliefs, values, and mission of Old Fort Baptist Church.
- Be/become a covenant member of Old Fort Baptist Church.
- 5+ years of experience in a related job or field.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
