Childcare Cook Job at Oak Creek School
Oak Creek School is seeking a Cook to become a part of our amazing team! We are seeking an individual who is prepared to work in the kitchen serving snacks and meals to 120+ children on a daily basis as well as being capable of spending time in a classroom when and if needed. Menu's are pre-planned, and it is the cook's responsibility to know how much food will be needed to ensure we are following all serving guidelines.
Requirements:
-18 years of age or older
-HS Diploma, G.E.D or college transcript
-1Year of prior experience cooking for a large facility
-Fingerprint and Criminal Background Check required
-CPR/First Aid Certified (we can help you obtain)
-Food Handlers Certification
Responsibilities:
-Prepare Snacks and Meals following a pre-planned menu.
-Distributing and Serving Snacks and Meals on schedule.
-Retrieving dirty or used dishes from classrooms and washing them
-Ordering Supplies from Walmart, Sunbeam and A&A Sales (including food and paper products for the facility)
-Keeping the Kitchen Clean and Organized
-Following All Rules and Regulations Set Forth by the Health Department
-Following All Rules and Regulations set forth by Childcare Licensing
-Willingness to Substitute Into Classrooms when Required
