CHEF : Working Chef for Busy Italian Restaurant w/ Equity Opportunity

This “New York” style Italian Restaurant has consistently been a successful & busy restaurant for over 25 years. Located in Northern Westchester County, minutes form Connecticut border. We are looking to hire an EXPERIENCED WORKING CHEF. Administrative, management only types need not apply. The right candidate will:

· Be experienced working & running a busy kitchen.

· Be able to produce consistent quality products.

· Make every effort to ensure the ultimate satisfaction of the customers.

· Maximize profitability & minimize waste.

· Follow and enforce the owners’ requirements, guidelines & restaurant vision.

· Responsibilities:
-Develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.
- Must be able to perform all kitchen stations under pressure.
-Monitor and record inventory, and if necessary, order new supplies.
-Provide support to junior kitchen employees with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
-Recruit and train new kitchen employees to meet restaurant and kitchen standards.
-Adhere to and implement sanitation regulations and safety regulations.
-Manage the kitchen team .

· Requirements:
-A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
-Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
-Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $119,000.00 per year
