Title: Surgical Technologist Surgery
Location:Maury Regional Medical Center
Position Shift Options: Full-Time or PRN

Position Summary:
The Surgery Technologist is an active member of the nursing team in the Operating Room or procedural area, functions under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse in the OR, and is responsible for assisting the RN in carrying out the individual plan of care based on the RN assessment

A typical day in perioperative services consists of 9-10 OR rooms running 30-35 cases per day.
· We specialize in Orthopedics total joints, Ortho Spine, Neuro Spine, Laparoscopic and Robotic General, GYN, Urology, Vascular, ENT, and Plastics.
· Daily we huddle at the OR board beginning at 630am about information, supplies, and any other pertinent information.
· We have multiple shifts available 8’s, 10’s, 12’s and call guarantee shifts.
· We pride ourselves on treating patients the way you would treat your own family.

Credentials / Education:
· Required: Current Surgical Technologist certification
o First Assist
· Preferred: One (1) Certified Surgical Tech Experience
