Hospital located in Waterbury, CT is seeking a permanent, full-time Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join their team. Beautiful facility, gorgeous surrounding area, and great community to be part of. $3,000 sign-on bonus!

Salary: $25 - $45 Hourly DOE

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Duties:

• Surgical Technologist assists surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for operations and passing items to doctors and nurses as needed.
• Working under the direction of the RN, the Surgical Technologist functions in the OR as a surgical scrub performing a variety of technical and other activities following established methods and procedures.
• Assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision
• Surgical Technologist is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire position
• Also looking for Surgical Technologists with CVOR experience. Different pay-scale would apply
• Day and Night Shift positions available!

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Qualifications:

• Preferred 2 years of experience in area of expertise
• Associates degree preferred
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technologists
• BLS certification
• Surgical Technologist Certification
• ORT Certification
• Ability to provide excellent customer service skills and exhibit a professional attitude
