Our pharmacy is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician who is experienced in checking for accuracy and reviewing prescriptions, approvals, and registrations to ensure that all medications have been filled, billed and shipped in the most efficient manner. This position requires strong attention to detail as well as a willingness to multitask in a high-volume setting. The successful candidate for this position will have experience working in a pharmacy setting, be familiar with the completion of work orders, and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks successfully.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory of all prescription drugs according to federal and state laws.
- Prepare medication that is safe for patients to use and administer medications to patients.
- Communicate with patients and pharmacy staff.
- Respond appropriately to questions from patients.
- Follow the chain of command in cases of emergency.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
