Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA - Medical/Surgical Job at Franklin Community Health Network
For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Certified Nursing Assistants:
- 0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,500 (full time)
- 1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)
- Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
- Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Education: High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent is preferred

License/Certifications: Active Certified Nursing Assistant (Maine) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (New Hampshire) Certification required. BCLS certification, CPI annually as directed by organization.

Experience: Medical secretarial background and knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Detail-oriented and able to complete projects independently
Position Summary
Performs clerical duties for the Unit and acts as receptionist to patients and visitors arriving in the department. Utilizes computer to update pertinent patient information. Performs Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) duties as appropriate for the Unit and as qualified.
