Healogics is hiring a PRN Certified Medical Assistant to serve the center at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern, NC.
Schedule: PRN, as needed Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Who you are:
- An individual dedicated to creating Exceptional Patient Experiences with:
- A High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED); Associate’s degree preferred
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certification in state of practice
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Program (CAAHEP) or by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES)
- Passion for Wound Care, Wound Care experience preferred but not required
- Availability to work Monday – Friday standard daytime business hours

What you’ll do:
As a CMA, you’ll provide and coordinate the delivery of clinical and non-clinical services under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider. Other responsibilities may include but aren’t limited to:
- Assist the RN or LPN/LVN during the patient’s intake/discharge process
- Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO), training is provided
- Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census
- Assist the center’s staff with clerical services handled by Front Office Coordinators

The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $18.70 -$21.90. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications: education, experience, geography as well as operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
