ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Paid training will be provided)

The responsibilities and duties of this team member include, but are not limited to, the following items:

· Demonstrate Core Values of positivity, going above & beyond, adaptability and compassion.
· Must be willing to work three, 12 hour shifts from 7a-7p and one Saturday a month for 8a-1p.
· Willing to work at any of our 11 office locations (Dublin, Grandview, Hilliard, Grove City, Lancaster, Canal Winchester, Lewis Center, Westerville, New Albany, Marysville,Marion)
· Care for and assess new patients, follow ups and specialty appointments in a timely manner
· Collect patient information, including but not limited to: medical and social histories, current/past symptoms, current medication list, etc.
· Perform the following procedures: assessing vital signs, pulmonary function testing, food or medication challenges, skin prick and intradermal testing for: environmental, food, medications, and venom allergies.
· Administer intradermal, subcutaneous, and intramuscular injections according to guidelines
· Assess shot schedules and dosing concerns while being aware of patient identifiers
· Educate patients on immunotherapy such as antihistamines, signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis, and how to use an auto-injector
· Report to provider accurately while being a patient advocate
· Monitor and treat patients for anaphylaxis
· Order supplies as necessary and/or as requested
· Attend quarterly in-services
· Keep clinic moving in an efficient manner by maintaining low wait times and providing excellent customer service
· Light housekeeping to keep the facilities in perfect order. This includes keeping work areas tidy, picking up litter on the grounds and general straightening up.
· Other items as needed
Please note: All new team members will have a 4-6 week training period.

EDUCATIONAL AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Required
· Current Registered or Certified Medical Assistant in the State of Ohio
· BLS (basic life support)/CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) required.
· Continuously move throughout a 12-hour work day
· Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature
· Ability to read electronic medical records and electronic medication administration records
· Execute proper techniques for intradermal, subcutaneous, and intramuscular injection
· Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with patients and co-workers
· Ability to remain calm under stress
