Certified Medical Assistant Job at Lancaster Skin Center
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) has duties and responsibilities related to administrative responsibilities and patient care in the medical field. The CMA will be responsible for COVID-19 screening of symptoms and risk factors before a patient enters our building. This individual displays responsible behaviors, ability to work in a fast paced environment, ability to communicate effectively with others and functions as a member of the healthcare team. The CMA functions under the direct supervision and authority of the provider when performing medical and/or surgical procedures during patient care. The CMA reports to the nurse manager, who is responsible for administrative supervision and orientation of the CMA to the area's policies and procedures. The CMA assists in the organization of efficient patient flow, and organizes the office environment to assure patient safety. Administrative duties as assigned by the nurse manager.
This is a Full time position.
Salary is negotiable based on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
- Medical Assistant certification by approved national examination agency such as CMA, RMA, etc. (Must have certification when applying for the position).

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
