Skills:

Patient age group: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics.

Multi-Specialty Department includes the divisions of: Allergy, Endocrinology, Immunology, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Pulmonology, Rheumatology, Kidney Transplant Surgery, Genetics, Pain Management, Cardiology, and Pulmonary Function Testing.
This position will primarily be assigned to Nephrology and Kidney Transplant Surgery, but may be required to assist other divisions within the same office.

Submission Requirements:

• Minimum experience required is 1 year.

Medical Assistant Diploma or Certificate of Competency/Recognition in Medical Assisting Clinical/Back Office.
Ability to work well in a constantly changing environment. Understanding of medical terminology. Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English. Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job. Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload. Ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System. Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred.

• BLS-AHA

• Covid vaccination along with Booster

• Active CMA certificate
