Position Summary
This position requires an individual to consultatively sell and achieve established sales goals and performance standards for a Financial Center office. These activities include utilization of consultative sales skills, goal setting, team building, coaching and developing the sales skills of the branch staff as well as directing the staff's activities to achieve sales goals and ensure quality customer service is provided to the Bank's customers. Provides Hero/Caregiver quality customer service.

Essential Requirements, Duties, and Responsibilities
1. Develop and achieve branch deposit, loan, and alternative investment goals and all other goals and tactics consistent with market demographics and the overall Retail business plan in order to retain or increase the Financial Center's customer base and market share within a defined trade area.
2. Work with staff to develop individual goals and performance objectives consistent with the Financial Center's deposit, loan, and alternative investment goals and the overall Retail business plan.
3. Maintains a thorough knowledge of traditional financial products and services, including but not limited to, pricing, servicing policies, features, functionality, benefits, limitations, and conditions as well as a basic knowledge of non-traditional financial products.
4. Responsible for developing qualified referrals and appointments for CVFA representatives. Proactively working with the branch staff and CVFA representative to achieve established revenue goals.
5. Responsible for developing and monitoring the sales skills and effectiveness of the staff through observation and coaching using the Sales & Service Technique Checklist on a monthly basis.
6. Develop and foster the Financial Center's sales culture as well as a Hero/Caregiver service quality culture. Champion service quality through recognition, praise, and leading by example.
7. Develop and maintain contact with local small businesses, realtors, and community leaders to create awareness of PeoplesBank and the Financial Center as a partner in the community and to help grow the franchise.
8. Responsible for developing and monitoring the Financial Center's budget.
9. Responsible for making/keeping self technically proficient in the operation of appropriate PeoplesBank systems.
10. Complete required annual Regulation, sales and service training with a passing grade. Satisfactorily complete required annual BSA/AML training suitable for this position by achieving a score of 85% and appropriately applying this knowledge to daily activities and responsibilities.
11. Responsible for understanding the Bank's BSA/AML Policy and following the provisions of the policy, specifically understanding that any suspicious activity must be reported to the BSA Officer immediately.
12. Overall accountability for all branch functions, work, and service quality as well as compliance with all regulations.
13. Responsible for holding self and staff accountable for Hero/Caregiver service quality through strict adherence to ethical standards of behavior as outlined in the PeoplesBank's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
14. Communicates thoughts and ideas related to the continual improvement of processes, products, services, and related concepts.
15. Other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisor.

Educational & Other Requirements

1. College degree in finance or business related discipline and/or a minimum of five years retail banking experience or the equivalent.
2. Experience with Microsoft Office suite
3. Life/Fixed Annuity license desirable
4. Series 6 and 63, Life and Health licenses preferred but not required
5. Must be bondable.
