The Plow Crew position is responsible for safely clearing the roads and the parking lots to allow access for guests to enjoy the mountain recreation area. This is a full time 40+ hours a week seasonal job from December-Mid April. Class B or higher

Essential Functions of the Job

• Operate plow truck, wheel loader, skid steer, and other equipment to remove snow from roads and parking lots.
• Assist in maintaining equipment and communicate equipment conditions to appropriate staff.
• Report conditions to the appropriate staff.
• Work with mechanics for repairs and maintenance issues.
• Follow procedures recommended for operating equipment and service schedules.
• Promote safety by following safe practices and reporting any unsafe conditions.

Non-Essential Functions of the Job

• Maintain a professional attitude toward guests, drivers, and staff.
• Assist in mountain rescue efforts, if necessary.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• Heavy equipment operation experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and a variety of hours.
• Day Shifts:2.00am to 11:00pm, Night Shifts: 2pm to 10:30pm
• This position must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds occasionally as well as occasionally lift up to 35 pounds above shoulder level.
• Occasionally required to stand, balance, walk, climb, and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or fell objects, tools, or controls.
• Ability to communicate verbally and to hear.
• Valid class B or higher CDL driver’s license and insurability.
• Pre-employment drug test required.
• This position requires employees to provide sufficient clothing for warmth in winter conditions, gloves in good repair, and pac boots in good repair.

Working Conditions

• Outdoor environment; exposed to inclement weather and adverse conditions.
• May be exposed to smoke, dust, fumes and odors.
• Vibration and noise are present in the work environment.
