CDL Instructor Job at Commercial Driving Academy
Professional Truck Drivers wanted!

Local CDL school is looking to hire additional Instructors. We are looking for a professional driver with experience behind the wheel, to help train and educate the next generation of truck drivers.
Must be a team player with good communication skills, patience, and the drive to help students build the skills needed for a career as a professional driver. Full or part time employment is available.
We need instructors who can help students with:
- Pre-trips
- Backing skills
- Shifting a manual transmission
- Driving on the road
- Class A and B certifications
Qualifications:
- Current Class A CDL
- Valid Medical Certificate
- 3 year minimum driving experience with Class A CDL
- Additional endorsements preferred but not required
- Teaching/Mentoring experience is a plus
- Previous experience is a plus
- Desire to help prepare the next generation of CDL driver
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Overtime
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Joliet, IL 60436: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Commercial driving: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- CDL A (Required)
