Role Summary:

The Catering Coordinator assists the Catering Director in administering all day-to-day catering operations, in-store promotions, and community events. This role is primarily operational with approximately 90% of time spent helping lead shifts and performing operational tasks and 10% with administrative tasks.

Essential Functions:

Operational (90%)

• Provides oversight on the staging of packaged items for catering orders.
• Transports deliveries and assists in outside events as needed.
• Performs front- and back-of-house tasks as needed such as operating the register, bagging and running orders, and attending to guests in the dining area.
• Helps ensure shifts are running smoothly.
• Ensures tasks assigned to team members are completed.
• Responsible for cash handling.
• Escorts Cow mascot at events.

Administrative (10%)

• Assists with finalizing contract agreements and negotiating terms with resell vendors.
• Answers phone calls and takes new orders.
• Coordinates with Administrative Coordinator and Kitchen Director to ensure adequate supplies, product, and staff are available to fulfill catering orders.
• Follows up with guests to ensure a positive experience.
• Collaborates with leaders to accomplish shared organizational goals and initiatives and participates in bi-weekly leadership meetings.

Schedule:

• 
  Full-time (30-40 hours/week)
• Available to work morning, mid-day, and/or evening shifts as needed as well as up to two Saturdays per month.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 18 years of age upon hire date
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Have a reliable source of transportation
• Able to lift 30 pounds
• Reading, writing, and basic math skills
• Exceptional customer service skills and willing to go the second mile for guests
• Able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Highly attentive to detail
• Valid driver's license
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Excellent communication skills
