Home Instead is seeking full-time and part-time Caregivers in your area. We take pride in providing our clients with compassionate and dedicated caregivers, while providing our caregivers with opportunities to grow their skills as a Care Professionals. We are currently seeking Caregivers to fill immediate part-time needs in the Morgantown, WV area for morning and evening shifts, and for those with weekend availability to help cover a variety of shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. You must specifically be open and willing to work on evenings and have some availability as needed to work an occasional weekend.

Our Caregivers provide services that range from companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, and respite care for dementia and Alzheimer’s.

• Lend a compassionate ear and be there for our clients by providing companionship and conversation
• Help maintain our client’s households by assisting with errands, meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping
• Provide critical reminders to clients to take medications
• Give peace of mind and assistance during bathing, showering, grooming
• Transport clients to appointments and assist with errands/shopping as needed
• Be there when others need a break by providing dementia and Alzheimer's Care

While prior caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus, we do not require prior experience and provide all of the training that you may need to feel comfortable and confident caring for our clients.

What we will require:

• Be dedicated, reliable, and passionate about caring for the elderly
• Be a U.S. Citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States
• Be at least 18 years of age or older
• Be able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Successfully pass a criminal background check and a motor vehicle record
